Jr. Volunteers Help “Lucky.”

July 12, 2021 our new foster doggie, Lucky went to Cheat Lake Animal Hospital for his first follow up appointment. Lucky is an eleven year old french bull doggie, that was rescued from the streets of Carmichaels, PA. He came to us with many health issues that will require weeks of treatment, surgery, and recovery time before he will be ready for adoption. The Jr. Volunteers held a recent car wash fundraiser on July 10th; and the Team Captain of Team A.L., (Animal Lovers), made the decision to give all the money they raised that day to the animal that needed it most. Lucky was selected for that money! It was only fitting that it would be Lucky to make the payment on his bill!
